Elefant Traks presents the debut album from The Herd producer Unkle Ho

From a smoke-filled coffee house somewhere years from here comes the debut solo album from The Herd producer Unkle Ho titled Roads to Roma. This is a genuinely enchanting album of broken beats, drawing upon Unkle Ho’s panoptic approach to sampling and listening.

Eastern European gypsy wails mingle with Arabic harmonies whilst dancehall and hip hop rhythms jostle with folk, dub and indie backdrops to create the unique spirit of Roads to Roma. Like any true herdsman, Unkle Ho carefully shepherds his musical species without succumbing to the recklessness of mashed up genre leftovers.

Guesting on the album is fellow member of The Herd: Urthboy, recent Quannum signings Apsci, and live collaborator Senator Jim (formerly of pioneering ‘90s Oz hip hop group Fathom).

Unkle Ho designed all the artwork, the website and the addictive barrel jumping flash game that accompany this release – see www.unkleho.com. An eye-popping animated video clip has been created for the first single Grace of the Guru by Tom Spiers (‘Love and Imitation’ - Infusion).

Shipping Info

Australian Customers

We’ve chosen Australia Post to handle delivery of all our orders. Australia Post offers a safe, fast, cheap and reliable service. If you’re in a rush for your purchase Express Post offers next business day delivery Australia wide. Each item in the store is individually weighed and our shipping calculator works out the actual postage cost.

Overseas Customers

For most orders we recommend Air Mail shipping, Australia’s Air Mail rates are some of the cheapest in the world and they also provide a swift shipping time. Other options include Express Post International, Express Courier International and Sea Mail.

International orders may be subject to local taxes and duties. It is the buyers responsibility to understand and pay these.

Making a Return

Australian Customers

If you change your mind after your goods have arrived you may send them back within 30 days of receipt. You must contact us for a goods return authorisation number first. No goods will be accepted without this number. Reseal the package, with your invoice attached to the front, write the return authorisation number on the back, mark it ‘Return To Sender’ and you can send it via Australia Post. If you have simply decided that you don’t want the order we will refund the value of the goods or credit the value against a future order. We regret that shipping charges are only refundable if we have made an error in the goods we have supplied or the goods are damaged.

Overseas Customers
